Grounds for Sculpture

Last week I went down to the Grounds for Sculpture with my friends in Hamilton, New Jersey. They have tons of famous art pieces made into sculptures, including American Gothic and The Scream. They have a bunch of modern sculptures as well as some great flower gardens and have live peacocks roaming around the premises.

This selfie took a long time to get

So if you live anywhere near Hamilton and are into art or art history, Grounds for Sculpture is a great place to spend the day and take in everything there is to see.

2 concerts, 3 days

Last month I saw both The 1975 and Ariana Grande in concert, in the span of 3 days. Both were amazing, but only one was planned. They also were both in different cities and states, that being Philadelphia and New York City.

The first of the two concerts I went to was The 1975 at the Mann Center in Philadelphia. Other than having to drive 2 hours each way and taking wrong turns at 1 AM, I had an amazing time. So much so that I'm even more obsessed with their albums. Also, very very aesthetically pleasing.

Then one day after, my friend Katie said she had an extra ticket to a free Vevo Ariana Grande concert in New York City. We took the train in, and walked down to the Lower East Side, and got an amazing ice cream on the way to the Angel Orensanz Foundation. It was a very intimate show, with less than 300 people, and we were about 4 rows from the stage (other than being behind people a foot taller than you)

Both concerts were great. I'd give it a 10/10, you definitely recommend to a friend.
