I've been using this backpack from Lesportsac
The first thing I pulled out of my bag was the book I'm almost done reading (It's AMAZING)
Always should have a pair of sunglasses to protect those eyes! (especially if you have sensitive eyes like me)
I've got a Camelback water bottle, which comes with a filter in it so you can fill it up anywhere without worrying about fluoride or anything like that
Then I have Tangle Teezer I bought in London's Heathrow Airport last summer when I realized I forgot a hairbrush
I then have my wallet (which has like five dollars in it)
Can't forget to have house keys either
I have my passport on me, mostly because I'll be needing it a lot this summer ;)
I carry a small makeup bag with extras like makeup wipes, concealer, and pressed powder for touch ups
I also have a notebook that I fill with thoughts, a couple short stories and the occasional quick sketch
I have the "In Case of Emergency" umbrella and flashlight
Lastly I have a beach towel because, knowing my friends around water, someone's going to need it.
So those are my daypack essentials! Summer is my favorite time of the year, where you are free to do and go where you want, when you want and that ignites something in me to explore the world around us. By the time this is posted, I will be on a bus up to the Adirondack Mountains, to work as a camp counselor for the next seven weeks, so look forward to camp life! Then I'm off to a place I've been wanting to go to since I was about ten, and had my excitement reawakened in my Sophomore English class (of all places).
Talk to you later,
-Karin xx
